On occasion,
lighthouses around the country need a friend – another voice from a broader
platform outside a state or local community, to help raise the level of
awareness for the plight of an endangered sentinel or a lighthouse trapped
within the political battlefields that could threaten its keepers or the
very structure itself. When such teamwork is necessary to save a lighthouse
or assist an organization, the American Lighthouse Foundation can be counted
upon to lend a helping hand. Time and again, ALF has demonstrated a team
approach by effectively advocating for lighthouse projects around the
country. From lobbying for critical preservation measures at light stations
on the edge of oblivion to standing up for fellow lighthouse friends around
the country under attack by irresponsible politicians, the American
Lighthouse Foundation takes a leadership role when it comes to serving as
the nation’s leader in lighthouse preservation and education.

American Lighthouse Foundation has "Lent a Helping Hand" to around the country
