Completion of Phase I of
Avery Point Walkway!

The following update on the memorial brick walkway being established on the
grounds of the Avery Point Lighthouse was provided by Jim Streeter, co-chair
of the Avery Point Lighthouse Society

I would personally like to thank
each and every one of the individuals who helped with the walkway; from
those who help sell them, keep the data base and records, and those that
help install them. Every one of you did a super job in helping to
construct one of the most beautiful landmarks in the state of
Connecticut. Especially want to thank Ron Foster for all the work he
did designing |

The beginning of
the walkway, just outside the construction fence surround the lighthouse
(NOTE: We still need to install bricks from the circle up to the
lighthouse but have to wait for the lighthouse restoration construction
to be completed).
