Pam Britton,
of Cutler, recently donated a hand painted wooden plaque to Little River
Lighthouse, which will now go on permanent display at the restored
keeper’s house on the island where the lighthouse is located.
Britton who
has been painting scenes of Maine for a number of years said since she
sells so

much artwork that
features the historic lighthouse, that it was time to give something back to
the lighthouse.
The plaque, which
is one of Britton’s most popular designs, although each one is slightly
different, features the lighthouse, a lobster, a lobster boat and the words
Cutler, Maine will be displayed at the inside front entrance to the
