which is located on an island in Cutler Harbor.
Karen Staake of the Friends of
Little River Lighthouse said she hopes that many people will consider the
beautiful sweatshirt in their holiday gift giving to help the lighthouse.
The winter lighthouse print is also
available separately for $12.95 plus Maine sales tax.
The sweatshirts or the print can be
ordered and picked up in Whiting by calling 259-3833 ahead of time, or by
mail for an extra $5.00 for shipping, from the Friends of Little River
Lighthouse, P.O. Box 671, East Machias, ME 04630.
The Friends of Little River
Lighthouse will also be having a garage sale of lighthouse merchandise on
Saturday, December 8, from 10 am to 3 pm and Sunday, December 9, from 12
noon until 3 pm, at 985 Cutler Road in Whiting that will also include Little
River Lighthouse Christmas cards, prints, ornaments and other items to
benefit the lighthouse.
