Friends of Pemaquid Point Lighthouse Adds Board Members

 

 
 
The FPPL volunteers, who keep the Pemaquid Point Lighthouse tower open each season and maintain the historic structure, welcomed five members recently added to the board of directors. Two of the new board members are from Bristol: Jim Albright will become the new 2nd Vice President and Joe Ponti will assume a newly created position, Member-at-Large. Beth Chance from Newcastle will serve as Secretary. In addition the FPPL board will include the Education Committee Chairperson, Sue Young of Nobleboro, and the Training Chairperson, Bill Connell. FPPL is always looking for volunteers to help with the many things they do. Among the volunteer opportunities are lighthouse maintenance, hosting visitors, helping with education programs, fundraising, and publicity.
