Foundation can fund the plumbing
reinstallation without placing an added financial strain on ALF's already
under-funded restoration budget for 2006.
The American Lighthouse Foundation continues to perform some amazing work
for lighthouse preservation, but even the smallest of projects do not happen
without the generous financial support of people like you. With state and
federal funding, as well as charitable grants, becoming more difficult to
obtain with each passing year, the present and future of our
lighthouse heritage lays squarely in the hands of the people who care most
-- you and I.
Please help ALF today with a much-needed donation to make up
the $1,375 shortfall, which is necessary to completely fund the plumbing
project at Little River Light Station this month...and
if possible, an additional gift to assist the American Lighthouse
Foundation with its everyday operations -- critical work that rewards our
member's confidence in ALF's efforts, while demonstrating the commitment to
ensuring ALF lights keep on shining and standing proud for future
generations.
