The American Lighthouse
Foundation's unique ability to rally local volunteers to form "chapters" of
the American Lighthouse Foundation to help save "their" lighthouse serves as
the foundation of our organization's success. Without the timely and
dedicated financial support of the public at large, even the yeoman efforts
of our passionate volunteers is not enough to save America's lighthouses. By
working together, we become the new "keepers of the lights" and ensure that
we "leave the light on" for future generations by saying that we believe
lighthouses are irreplaceable treasures of our nation's heritage - past,
present and future.
