Many people throughout the country who love lighthouses
and would enjoy the opportunity to get involved in helping the American
Lighthouse Foundation save them have long wondered just how to best
accomplish this desire – especially if their home state has |

no lighthouses. Even coastal towns rich in maritime heritage often do not
have opportunities for individuals to give specifically back to lighthouse
preservation.
If you happen to live somewhere in the nation’s mid-section where your state
doesn’t touch the great waters of the Atlantic or Pacific oceans, Gulf of
Mexico or the Great Lakes, then you probably think that there is very few
opportunities for you to participate in activities to help preserve
America’s lighthouses close to home. Well, think
again!
Regardless if you live in the plains of Oklahoma, cornfields of Nebraska, the
desert regions of Arizona, the Great Lakes or along America’s vast
coastline, you and your friends can now become
“keepers” on a mission to help the American Lighthouse Foundation save our
country’s rich lighthouse heritage! No matter where you live –
even next door to a lighthouse, you can become involved today with our
exciting and ever-growing efforts to protect these national treasures.
